Sprite Ginger is here and we found it at Walmart – finally! We love ginger, but have been wondering just how how well ginger + lemon lime would taste. The brand guy at Sprite, Mark Shorey said, “With ever sip, you’ll get the crisp, refreshing cut-through of lemon-lime up front, balanced with a hit of ginger on the back-end.”
After one sip, we knew Mr. Shorey had either not tasted it, or he was just super jazzed about what he wanted it to taste like. Because for us – it’s the opposite. It’s a great, fizzy ginger ale taste that’s followed by a light lemon-lime aftertaste. Either way, it REALLY works! This stuff is seriously yummy and like a step up from regular ginger ale.
Who would have thought that ginger + lemon lime could work (besides Mark Shorey and the other folks at Sprite, obviously)? Sorry ginger ale, but we’re bumping you. We love this, and are so happy it’s part of the Sprite and Sprite Zero line now! ??
