The ’90s were a decade to remember. Pearl Jam and Nirvana represented grunge. Doc Martens and Birkenstocks were on our feet. We had Friday nights on ABC, Polly Pockets, overalls, Jim Carrey, “yo quiero Taco Bell,” Lisa Frank, and Dunkaroos! Although we can’t jump in a time machine to experience it all again, we’re pleased to announce that General Mills is bringing back Dunkaroos!!
Remember these from 1992? They actually lasted on the market through 2012 in the U.S., but we’re pretty stoked to see them coming back again. They’ll be released sometime this summer in “select” stores nationwide. No other details are available right now.
They’ll be a classic vanilla cookie with vanilla frosting and rainbow sprinkles. We’re hoping nostalgia leads to lots of sales, so they’ll re-make our favorite flavor combos: Strawberry Frosting with Vanilla Cookies and Chocolate Frosting with Graham Cookies! ??
While it would be great to experience Beverly Hills 90210, the rise of Pokemon, and Crystal Pepsi again, we’ll definitely take this little nod to the ’90s!
