Snyder’s of Hanover Parmesan Garlic Pretzel Pieces Review

I’m not usually a fan of snacks with garlic as one of the featured flavors…for a variety of reasons. Well, actually for one reason. My freaking breath smells like garlic for like two weeks (yes, I brush my teeth 2 to 3 times a day). The aftertaste of garlic that lingers in my mouth is just blah. I hate the lingering garlic taste so much that just last night I threw away a freshly-opened Garden Fresh Salsa. I grabbed a new flavor that I had never seen before, and you know I obviously love trying new things. It said “fire roasted” salsa, so I was all over that. I placed it in my cart without looking at the ingredients — big mistake. There was legit MASSIVE chunks of garlic in the salsa. What were they thinking? Two bites and I tossed it. And almost a day later, I STILL have the garlic aftertaste in my mouth.

So, there you have it. Garlic just doesn’t fly with me. However, I am still super excited to try these new Snyder’s of Hanover Parmesan Garlic Pretzel Pieces because Snyder’s nails ALL the flavors. Hands down, I’ve never been disappointed by Snyder’s of Hanover. I like this brand so much that I probably still wouldn’t be disappointed if the CEO came knocking on my door to call me a fat loser.

No surprise, Snyder’s of Hanover did it again. This flavor is amazing and I am honestly bummed it’s a limited-edition flavor. These taste like crunchy pieces of garlic bread. I really could leave my review at that because that’s exactly what these taste like, but I am going to go a bit more in depth for you!

From the butter, to the parmesan, to the spices, these pretzels are plain amazing. The parmesan stands out when you first dig into these pretzels, which is immediately followed by the garlic and spices. You can even make out the spices and herbs used — I pick up on parsley, oregano, and even a bit of basil. And what about the garlic aftertaste? It’s definitely there but Snyder’s did this right. It’s not overpowering and doesn’t linger in your mouth for too long. My all time favorite Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels are the Honey Mustard & Onion, but these are a close second. They are that good.

Thankfully, I won’t toss these like I tossed the salsa last night. Buy this while you can because it won’t be on shelves long! Just hoping that when the CEO of Snyder’s comes knocking on my door to call me a fat loser, he will come with a case of these for me. *Hook me up, Carl Lee. PLEASE!*

I steal my nieces’ Halloween candy and laugh about it, put whipped cream on vegetables, don’t trust food that isn’t in a package, and worship ice cream. Chips are my favorite snack and might just end up being my downfall. I would marry Flamin' Hot Cheetos if it was legal (and not weird). Born and raised near Detroit, I grew up eating delicious coney dogs, unique pizzas, and of course --- all the best snacks.
