Halo Top Peaches & Cream Review

Peaches and cream
I need it cause you know that I’m a fiend
Gettin’ freaky in my Bentley limousine
It’s even better when it’s with ice cream
Know what I mean, peaches and cream

How could a song that was released in 2001, be so absolutely perfect in describing a low calorie ice cream from 17 years in the future? Clearly, these boys are singing about something wildly erotic and sexy…but let’s be real for a second. The perfect bowl of ice cream could easily be described in the same way.

Wanna taste, wanna put my lips all over you
Can’t get enough of you
Always taken of you
So sweet, so very wet

Halo Top Peaches & Cream has 320 calories per pint. I’m not a calorie counter, and I really don’t care about them, but it’s still pretty impressive.  I checked out the ingredients, and there are real peaches in here. That shouldn’t surprise me, knowing it’s the almighty Halo Top and they use a ton of natural stuff in their ice cream. The second I popped off the lid, I could smell peaches. Fresh, plump, summery peaches.  And, believe it or not, I could actually smell the cream. It doesn’t get any more peaches & cream than this.

I immediately noticed a couple of little, orange chunks in the ice cream. They are few and far between, but they are there. I scooped one out and popped it in my mouth. That’s a freaking peach bit! A real, fresh tasting bit of peach! I dove right in and I have to be honest… this is the best Halo Top ice cream I’ve ever had.  Although I couldn’t necessarily see the bits of peach, I got some in each bite. It definitely isn’t lacking peach texture or flavor, that’s for sure. Surprisingly, it didn’t need a ton of actual peaches in it.

I never thought that I would be
So addicted to you
On top, underneath, on the side of you
Better yet baby inside of you
Love the way you’re just flowin down
And I can feel it all around
In the front, in the back of you
Ooh I love the taste of you
Girl you know what I’m talking about

The ice cream itself is extremely creamy. Most low-cal ice creams offer this gritty texture that really turns me off. But this Halo Top Peaches & Cream is spot on. I can literally taste the skim milk, sugar and peach puree in it.  The aftertaste is sweet, silky and lingering. I’m starting to be happy about the lack of calories in the tub, because it’s seriously just about gone, after opening it 10 minutes ago.  I’ve never had a low-cal ice cream that didn’t taste like low-cal ice cream, until now. It’s simply peaches and cream in ice cream form. It’s pure, fresh, light, smooth and absolutely perfect. It is the epitome of peaches & cream.

Oh girl I need it
I gotta have it
It’s always on my mind
Know what I mean
Peaches and cream

Buy a pint. Listen to Peaches n Cream from 112, and tell me they aren’t singing to a pint of Halo Top Peaches & Cream ice cream.  If there’s any song that could fit this sexy, smooth, silky and sultry ice cream, this is it.

When I'm not stuffing my face with salty treats made of pure carbohydrates, I'm working out and trying to sweat out the excessive calories I ate.  I live in Dallas, Texas and absolutely love it.  This is the state that fries everything, serves 2 pound chicken fried steak dinners with at least 2 sides that are beautiful, tan and delicious. I eat tacos with ketchup, consider wine and popcorn a meal, put bacon on everything and will slap a fool if he asks for a bite of my beef jerky.
