M&M’s Cookies & Screeem Review
Cookies & Creme is probably one of the hottest names in the snack world. It’s so popular that even Oreos released a limited-edition Cookies & Creme flavor. Why not just make everything cookies & creme? Mars decided they would get on board with the cookies & creme game and release limited-edition Oreo flavored M&M’s. They call them Cookies & Screeem in honor of the Halloween season (get it?!). These are a Target exclusive and I hunted all around town to find these. I seriously checked four different Target locations almost daily over the course of a week until I finally found them. I hope my efforts paid off and these are good.
These chocolates feature a dark chocolate exterior shell and white chocolate on the inside. Just like an Oreo cookie. The shell is speckled with white dots everywhere to give you that cookies & creme vibe. Let’s just admit it…they look badass too.
I bite into one of these and I immediately got the taste of some heavy dark chocolate. I am not a big fan of dark chocolate so I was pretty disappointed. It almost tasted like a Little Debbie Brownie and all I could taste was that deep brownie fudge flavor. Ugh. Although those brownies are great treats, I really bought these for cookies & creme…not brownies & brownies.
As I ate more of them, I started to pick up on the creme flavor of these cookies & creme M&M’s. It was very faint and the dark chocolate definitely overpowered the white chocolate ‘creme’ flavor.

Pretty heartbreaking because we basically got brownie flavored M&M’s. Did I still enjoy them? Yes, but I definitely won’t be buying them again due to the lack of creme flavor. Mars really could have toned down the bold chocolate flavor and worked on the creme aspect of these. Shame on you, Mars, for messing up these up! I always dreamt of cookies & creme flavored M&M’s but this is not what I was expecting. My week long Target search for these did not pay off unfortunately.

Not much of a cookies & creme flavor to these. They mostly taste like brownies and you barely get the hint of the 'creme' flavor. Mars broke my heart.
